Saturday October 24th from 2pm - 6pm
Sunday October 25th from 11am - 4pm Anna Eyjolfsdottir who lives and works in Reykjavik will be making new work for the HMS gallery space. The artist often works with large installations, where she honours especially the spatial characteristics of the venue she works inside. Her works are often laden with sensitive images from social memory. Everyday occurrences are reflected in her art and ready-made objects find new roles in her works. "With love from Iceland" will be exhibited during the HMS Open Studios weekend when visitors will be able to meet the artist. |
